Historic Bethania Mill - July Meeting

Hi all,
We are looking forward a bit here, but we need to get the word out early on this great event.
Vicki will be hosting our "Open House" July meeting and she has arranged for us to spend it in the newly renovated Village Shops at Bethania Mill. (start thinking of friends you'd like to invite to join the club, and bring them too!) This is a great new shopping and artworks location! Please start to plan now and RSVP early. We need a minimum of 6-8 members to attend. The meeting is July 15th, usual time 6:45pm. We haven't had the whole gang together since the February meeting. It'd be great to catch up! The owners also have their own winery, we will have a tasting of that as well.
Continue to watch the blog and your emails for more details about our June meeting!

May Book Club Update

Hello and glad you stopped by to read about the May book club meeting. Last night we met at Chelsee's and had good laughs and conversation about books we've read in the last month.
Pretty in Plaid - by Jen Lancaster (read by Jenny)
Lost on Planet China - by J Maarten Troost (read by Jess)
The Old Man In The Sea - by Hemmingway (read by Jess)
Homecoming - by Belva Plain (read by Vicki)
The Forgotten Garden - by Kate Morton (read by Elizabeth)
We talked about Anne Rivers Siddon's book release "Up Island", and many more good reads.

We tried Blue Jean Wine! It was very tasty. The average rating on the wine at Cork'd website is 79.0. We all thought it was very good.

Our June read theme will be Family Reunions and Father's. Pick a book about either of these two topics and come prepared to share your read(s) with the group.

There will be updates on the next meeting scheduled for June 17 at Debbie Pilson's!

Looking forward to seeing you all then. Don't forget you can always send me an email with book reads or wine reviews. We'd love to share the information via the Blog or an email to the group!
